Weekend weather will be dominated by a slow moving upper level disturbance (moving west from the Atlantic & the same system that caused Thu.'s storms) & strengthening onshore east to northeast winds. Bands of rain....

Stormy day Thursday as an upper low worked its way into Georgia creating high instability thanks to cool air aloft (about 25,000+ feet) & lots of morning sun. We had very heavy rain & quite a few reports of hail & high winds & at least 1 tornado (north of Fargo, GA.). This disturbance will move....

The disturbance helping to trigger showers & storms Wed. will move just about right over the First Coast during the day Thu. leading to widespread....

Our upper level disturbance is on track to bring rain to the First Coast later Wed. into Thu. Looks like 100% coverage with moderate to locally heavy amounts. We should see a few thunderstorms too....

Our onshore winds have brought the expected scattered showers though the rain has been hit-'n-miss. We'll continue to see scattered showers through Tue. night. A fairly strong disturbance....

Our winds of change are just around the corner -- a shift to east/northeast winds. The wind speeds won't be all that strong Sat. + moisture will still be limited. That adds up to a very nice day with....
