I would suggest we look for bad guys specifically and weapons generally,right now it's backwards.

GodizGood: You are right. We want everyone to praise the Lord just not from the pulpit with these alegations hangin over his head. My question is, if this were a school teacher would we say let him teach if he wants to teach? There are guidelines in the bible as to who is qualified to preach. Gilyard does not meet those qualifications since Texas. People have forgotten that he is repeating these acts over and over while blinded so-called believers turn their heads. All those who are doing this will have to answer to God. Its easy to have our ears tickled. Newbill is right in not turning our back but turning him over to the law of the land and yes God will do his part. So if a serial killer is converted and call to preach, we should let him out of prison?

To the 9:41 AM post-er: Your mind is twisted and you have been seduced and mind-bended by these two men and you don't even know it. What you need to do is think more for yourself and read your own bible. Don't be led by men. Confer with the Word of God first. Read 1 Timothy Chapter 3. Forget what Newbill has said about it, what did God say?? And was it Newbill who prepared salvation for you or did God do that? The Word is spiritually discerned so if you aren't saved get saved first for goodness sake (Romans 10:9,10). And ask God for wisdom.

I am a new member of First Timothy Baptist Church, before I became a member and heard of the aligations I felt the same way as a lot of people "keep him away from children" but as i listen to Pastor Newbill I have learned that you can not turn your back on anyone who wants to praise the lord. Had he turned this man away he would be the one standing infront of God hwaring the words "I sent this man to you and you turmed your back on him" The only way to help him and his situation is through Jesus Christ..everyone with these mean comments we all need to check ourselves..because no sin is greater than the other..God uses circumstances to remind us of his power..

Everything that I have read & heard.. a lit cigarette would not start the fire with oxygen tanks it would have to be a flame... It's a horrid thought of how long did it smolder b/4 catching the bed a fire... where was staff that should have been making rounds... why would the facility not have to be up to code..no matter how old the building was..When Codes are passsed & put in to effect why would this facility not have to be updated? Is that not why new codes & ordinances are passed.. to prevent such things from happening?????

Mikey was a great guy! It would be a great shock if his killer was a proud Afro-American. As an American who happens to be black, I detest the culture that has over-run our community and country. When the culprit(s) are caught, they should receive the most severe penalty. They don't deserve to breath the same air that at one time Mikey did.
